Zone- Based Incentives:

  • Tiered ROI Job Tax Credits- used for creation of jobs in rural communities, $4,500 Tax Credit
  • ARC Grant- used for green technology, infrastructure, job training
  • TVA Grants- energy efficiency, assistance with loans, and enhanced growth credits
  • USDA Grant- solar energy costs and infrastructure

State and Local Incentives:

Fast Track Infrastructure Development- Administered by the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development Grant and/or loans available to local communities to assist with infrastructure improvements, such as Water Systems, Wastewater Systems, Site Improvements, and Transportation Improvements. Maximum grant or loan amount is $750,000.

Community Development Block Grant-Administered by the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.  
Two programs included in the CDBG program, those are Economic Development Program - grants for industrial infrastructure or loans for industrial buildings and equipment
Community Development Program - grants for water and wastewater, housing rehabilitation, and community livability 

Green Energy Tax Credit- Tax Credit that will offset some of the costs of carbon tax levies.

Tennessee Small Business Energy Loan- A zero percent loan used for startup costs and expenses. Maximum amount for Loan is $300,000.

TN-CET- Covers certain % of cost of installing green technology.
